The following is slightly off topic due to it’s application oriented nature
but here is why I’m interested in these cells;

What I’d like to do is something like the following; Let's say you could reduce
your 1.55 volt cell to the size of d-cell. One could then build a completely
sealed magnetic module with one of these cells built inside. Then one could
arrange them in into a magnetic motor type frame similar to Perendev. One
would put an MPU inside each module to control the drive coil and a hall
sensor to sense the magfield. One would program the MPU to be a "neural
network" that can self optimize to produce an array of electromagnets
that “learns” to rotate the motor rotor at max RPM. So there would be
no intercommunication links except the task. ”Sort of the inverse of pure
magnets learning to produce the sticky spot.” Viola. A perpetually running
motor…only this time, a *real* one. I was thinking one could add a
permanent bias magnet to create 2mfield max. and 0mfield min. to help
things out. You could build a permanently operating motor with several
hundreds times more power than a pager motor. I don’t care about what
this looks like, only about what it does, and I think this is all quite doable.
In effect one would be building an intelligent (but weak) permanent magnet
as a module.

Mark:

One could make a perpetually running Bedini pulse type motor as well.  It would indeed open up some very interesting possibilities.

@ all and ian

not mutch relies and stuff are you all still working on improving your cells  has there been any improve ments  on your cells mine are fairly goo about half a volt in smaller ones and a volt in the flask cells or even more they seem to vary also still my best runner cell is not realy a conventional cell its ste cpu mike quentin(my science teacher) and hutch inspired cell it still puts out a volt or more could rectifiers and diodes do anything to improve the flow? Also what do you guys think of my progress do you think im heading in the right way? and what materials in your cells and in  your oppinions and minds do you use and how good are they im just comparing my cells with yours i know mine are alot more advanced but somehow not as good as you guys my flask cell is one of 12 good range cells and the others range from simple to highly complex upto 45 elements in one tht one had to be started upwith an oscillation of 160htz for 1 minute  not easy to make
got a new cell to try

Strontinum titanate

cuprous oxide the black stuff on copper  use in mix or replace with selenium or bismuth or all

germanium

sodium silicate it helps a bit but not a lot you could use rochelle salt  its better piezo wise

abit of neodynium but it doesn work good only with the magnet steel rod in the mix try it anyways

a aluminium case or any other metal thet is negative  and or you could have a copper case with magnetic steel inside  and as usualy the bismith as rod if you want to try it

With stuff like this its never an exact science but this is the best i can give of this as i had a clear out of my house and threw away my papers and stuff on my cels accidently  also to an earlier question have any of you created a power cell that is as close to the real cell as possible  im going to set up that webcam for all to see 24/7 as soon as i have reliable cells and you and anybody can see uninterrupted and took off the table and stuff this is so people dont think im using batteries and air powe or anything  i want to be taken seriously nad to show it is real im not a bighead or nowt but i think i would add credibility tome and you guys i would put the link to the website on there to get more people invlved and i would make it an open source project whether hutch likes it or not stuff like this needs to be shared not kept to istelf ofr it to dissappear am i right? :)

I do take you seriously Das Aloda Bullspit, despite your name. ;D Actually I like your name, it makes me laugh every time I type it! Anyway, I made some more sealant cells, and the highest I could get the voltage was about 0.5 Volts, using a tantalum electrode. I wanted to try a gold electrode, so I bought a 24 Karat plated coaxial cable adapter from radio shack for about 4 bucks, it didn't really do much, I put it in a another sealant cell. It was about the same as the maglite, around 300 milli-volts. The sealant seems to limit the voltage on the cells. I still need some better ingredients, maybe I'll be able to scrape some together in a few weeks. Oh and Das, don't put down on your cells, you said you can run a pager motor on one, it just kinda hit me, I think that would take more power than an L.E.D. All I've done is run a little LCD Clock. Could you explain some more about the cell that runs the motor? To run a motor of any kind is really good! ;) I think your right about hutchinson, he doesn't really help himself by being so mysterious. Oh and Ian where are you? Did you find some secret ingredient and the M.I.B. carry you away? ;D What was that multi-cell you mentioned a while back? Oh well, I don't post that much either, because I want to have some good news to share when I do. Hey Das, you mentioned that the Bismuth rod helps the output, so does that mean that these are affected by diamagnetism? Maybe if you made a cell with just diamagnetic ingredients in it? Just a thought. Good luck everyone!

G'day all,

Yep I've been a bit quiet recently, my health is not good at the moment so I have to take it easy. Anyway it has given me the chance to do some serious measurements on the 20-2010 cell. For the last 60 days it has put out 20 uA +/- 5 into an 8.2kOhm with a voltage of around 0.164v. It is a silicate based cell and with most of this type they settle down to the 20uA mark. The 7-2010 cell will run the travellers clock for a week then needs a days recovery and run for another week and so on.
The 4-2009 cell has been running a digital watch since the 9th 0f December last year and the cell voltage is actually increasing.  I'm pretty confident that it will still be going strong next December.

I now have some bismuth to play around with and I will combine it with iron oxide in a silicate matrix. It will take me a couple of weeks to prepare for this one as I need some way of keeping the mix hot for more than 7 days. It will have to be cooled very slowly in the polarizing field.

Thats about it for now, but I will be back soon.
Keep up the good work guys.

Ian
