Hi Nick. Nelson can confirm, but I think Nelson is probably not using a kacher driver.
A 'standard' type kacher driver seems not to be very efficient.

  He has already mentioned that it running off of his specially designed Kacher circuit, running on mA, not amps, in it previous posts. It's not just a regular Kacher circuit, or course. 
   Read all his previous post.  Now that you are all paying more attention.

Hi Nick. A 'kacher' is just one variation of a blocking oscillator.
A 'joule thief' is another variation of a blocking oscillator. There are
other variations, and there are many other types of oscillator circuits.
I think Nelson pretty much already indicated he was not using a kacher circuit. Neslon can confirm.

   Not only did he mention that he IS using a simple Kacher circuit to run his devices, which run on mAs, but has previously shown his circuits. So, please check his previous post, if you don't believe me, as it looks like you've missed it.
   There is nothing standard about his Kacher set up. Or it would work just like all the other weak Kacher circuits which don't include the amplification effect, nor can self run.

The higher response in my grenade also lays at these high MHz frequencies. There is nothing below 4Mhz. I will try to force it lower as you had suggested me again in the past.

Ps. I don't understand how you live three hours far of your device. Replication has to be next to your bed for testing any rising idea instantly.
