Nick, I have just noticed that your center tapped primary is counter wound from center tap as apposed to what Akula did. look at the vid "Использование резонанса в сварочном" again. look at the red ends, not the center tap. it is ALL one one direction from start to finish. aprox vid time 00:20

Dear Nick.

That is probably why you are getting little to no output from your 3 turn secondary. Also I read you were thinking of applying DC to your Yoke. That I fear would be counter productive as no induction would occur.

Your device as a whole is so close. You need to drive the Primary with a high frequency "rippley" DC and check out the sister thread for the missing "Resonator" that goes within your main vertical secondary coil. You will then be "Cooking with gas"!!!!!!! Or at the very least lighting some lamps

BTW. The choke that menofFather mentioned, that IS conected to the center tap is there to filter out any HF that might find it's way back and interfere with the primary operating frequency.

  Grum:  I think the reason that the pages went hay-wire is do to the link that Cepren B. gave, as it was way to big, I have it, in small size now in case anyone needs to see it, I can upload it again.
    Grum, I'll wait for you to try your approach, as I don't think that the yoke is getting the 220v direct from the rectifier, as I've mentioned before.  I'll wait and see how it goes for you.  The mosfet driver circuit is important to have, with the duty cycle and frequency adustment like Akula has it. I also don't think that the big air core is connected to the rectifier, either.
