hi everyone,

I have just got my 20 set of toroids(2500u) outer diameter 4.9cm.There are purchased from ebay.

I have completed assembly of toroids.I'm lucky as there was 3mm gap between toroid and pvc pipe initially but after putting masking tape on 17 toroid to hold them together.
I'm left with <1mm gap between toroid and PVP pipe.Perfect fit.

Time to start winding tomorrow.I have already posted SR193 winding details just few weeks back.

We shall see if this device is for real.I will be using signal generator to generate sine-wave for transistors driver at various frequency.

Another good news i have received an email stating that production of Barium-Ferrite magnet is completed since this is a custom order base on the specs which i have provided.

Can you tell us what is the cost of such ferrite ring ? Do anybody know how to cut such ferrite ? I have no rings but I have a few yoke cores from old tv sets and ther is a part of yoke which can be cut-off to become a ring but I don't see anything which can reliably cut ferrite ...

   Forest:
   A water cooled glass cutting machine will cut the ferrite yokes, but even a hack saw would probably work, or a grinder with a new thin blade.
  You might also be able to just take a hammer and break the yokes into powder, and use a little e-poxy to glue it back into a rod shape that will fit inside of the pvc pipe that you'll be using to wind the coil on. Or even first just try to fill the hole in the pipe with ferrite powder, without the glue, and tape both ends, it will probably work as well.
  The big old 34 inch CRT Tv have a huge yoke in them, like about 5 to 6 inch size.

Only cutting is an option I think. I don't suppose  any resin could be good enough, ferrites IMHO are made by big pressure , any other way will lower permeability a lot. Most I saw are in UFO shape    , to get a ring would be enough to cut the upper part. The big question is how to do that reliably in home ?

no dont wind it from the centre else you will do some mistake.

just try single layer on both legs ccw on both legs as shown in my orange wire update picture. and check if you are able to light your bulb. first do this.

I tried this but no success wondering if the fault is because of that cap 350v

The coil of the resonantor should be wound loose or tight?
