Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

  Competition huh?
Well, I think that before we get into that, it might be a good idea to see if we can get this Mazilli crt to feed itself back, first. As I doubt this will make for a good inverter, as it seams to be a current hog, and if we can't get it to self-run, Well...what are we doing?
Both Akula as well as Chubinidze were able to show their crt self-running by just connecting the output side to a full bridge rectifier, filter cap, and back to the battery, or inverter. Has anyone tried that yet? No?  As just watching this circuit run lighting a bulb at 1/10 normal brightness is not going to win a prize. That prize that Stefan offered, remember?
I'm temporarly out of commision at the moment, Verpies is experiencing "technical issues", Igor is waiting for more components,Geo's not to be found... lost in space?
Who's left...

Ya; I did... put a 1k resistor across it, and found it collected 5.3mA; drawing 120mA.... not enough to run itself. but good luck

"have you run your Mazzilli on a 12V, 7A/hr SLAB battery with a 230V / 1000W halogen tube load, pulling around 17 Amps from fully charged down to 11V?"

Have you run it on 24v, to see if the 5w Zeners and the  Fets will hold up to that? Or 36v?

hi Nickz,

Hoppy's battery base on last post as attached the battery spec shown in photo was 31AH at 17amps draw to power 1kw halogen light.
Mine is 7.2Ah 10 year old battery which i had used DIY battery desulfator to recover battery. But i'm sure it's internal resistance is higher now than 10 years ago.
Heading down tomorrow to get around ~25AH battery if exist.

I think it's more practical to run from 24volt battery than on 12volt battery where amp draw is 17Amps.But winding would have to be increase a little more or else efficiency will drop due to heat.

If you do search on 500watt...1000watt 50/60hz inverter esp 110/220volt you will notice it's more common for inverter to operate on 24volts than on 12volts.

I do admit it's more fun powering 1KW halogen bulb using 12volt battery which is more common.

Yes, I've tested up to 30V with a 60W tungsten lamp load but not with a 1000W halogen tube load.
