I think Itsu said 18.75m will work out to three layers, if I understood him correctly.
It will depend on your exact wire gauge of course. Not sure, but I think 2.5mm^2 is what Itsu used.
Maybe Itsu can confirm the wire gauge.

Hi Void,   correct, i use 2.5mm² solid copper wire with a diameter including the isolation of 3.3mm.
That way i guess you can put 18.75m on a 5cm diameter former in 3 layers in about 12cm length.

Some  thinks I didn't understud. He describes how to wind TV choke inductor There is something with 26 turns? of wire, after 2* 12 in the same direction and three or four tuns?, he also speaks about some 10th harmonics - but I didn't undestood for 100%

Of course I am speaking Russian - Я же Русь.  It is my native language.

Btw I have no time for skype chatting how winding coils, chokes, and solder components. 

I am looking for realy important Akula and Ruslan informations and try understand on the right way and translate so simple that many people can "catch" the sence what and how it shoud be done.

For example - from above Akula video. Did you knew that your Grenade coil need work exactly on Earth Resonat frequency - (Harmonic Frequency of ground response). Grenade must be tunned exactly on that frequency or no one will be able to replicate. Also Your Tesla transformer or Katcher must be tunned on same frequency without bifilar-choke and antenna. In Akula case it is 1.842MHz while in Ruslan generator 1.6MHz.  Also Akula recommend using two independent grounding conductors with heavy ltz wire - (for example 16mm² and bigger) for Generator grounding and equipment grounding. Akula has done lot of experimental works in Kurchatov Institute where he working. I think this is much valuable information than how to wind choke. If you does not know a principle how matching Generator and Grounding Harmonics nor one choke might not help you repliucate device.

Itsu, can now you scan you true bifilar coil wounded on 5 cm diameter tube 11 meters 2.5 mm2 wire?

Ok,  done that.

The inductance stays around 87uH, but i got a much cleaner signal with basically only 1 resonance point at 2MHz.
This resonance point is higher in amplitude, 57Vpp compared to 48Vpp with the old way wound coil.

More food for thought.
