Further to my post 7352 on page 491, I have posted three images below showing where I now think Ruslan placed his battery. The first clip is a repeat of the previous one posted showing a close-up shot of Ruslans cheapo Chinese SMPS. The second image is my SMPS modified as a no-break computer supply. I have removed the terminal block to PCB supply wires to give a clear view of how the PCB is cut to separate the strip terminal block.The third image is a side-on view of the battery compartment which will take up to a 10A/hr Lithium ion plat pack. Ruslan probably uses less than 10A/hr, as we see his cap voltage dropping noticeably during the demonstration on his latest video.

If you are just stuck with the latest device which myself think is a decoy.Then why not focus on Ruslan's older device which needs 25 turn bifilar similar to Akula device.

By the way i have mentioned previously even if you squeeze a  R/C lipo pack say around 11volts into psu.It would still need to be step up to 220volts.I doubt he want to destroy his PSU just to create + - output from battery inside PSU via those surface connectors.It really doesn't make sense since inside connectors to circuit would have to be cut.

Looking for answers by studying the Vasmus circuit diagram in order to understand the device we are working on.

C15,R8 is the receiver frequency tuner. But the device we were working on the receiver coil/kapanadze coil frequency is fixed.


C1,C2,C3 combined capacitor value of 6600uf.I would prefer to stick with 1 cap 10,000uf 50volts for kacher.


C16 *1uf* is the one similar to capacitor after 3 turns on 0.47uf+0.47uf+0.1uf or 0.22uf.


This means the 1uf capacitor is transferring low harmonics frequency say 10khz...20khz from receiver coil to circuit.In our case it's the yoke.

Taking a look at vasmus 15x15 turns bridge rectifier then to bulb.I think the circuit diagram we are working on is wrong.

Since ours is 25x25 turns which i think should be connected to full bridge rectifier then to bulb/cap and the kapanadze coil/multilayer coil should be connected to 1uf capacitor then connected to 3 turns in yoke.Looking carefully at vasmus i noticed there is no grounding for 15x15 turns.
This means bulb or output stage may not be connected to ground at all for the device we are working on.The output stage at bulb should be isolated from earth

 I finally got my Kacher working. There was nothing wrong with the crt, but it would not oscillate if I use the Akula/Ruslan type of primary coil for the kacher tower. My circuit needed a primary coil for the kacher that is wound right on top of the secondary, otherwise no matter what I did, it wouldn't work. But, when I got it working and connect the secondary coil to the ferrite rod tuner coil, it stops the oscillations. Nor do I see any brightning of the incandescent bulbs (3) 50, 50, 25 watts, for a total of 125 watt load. No matter what I do to tune it all, so far.
  So, I removed the antenna coil, and placed the Kacher tower next to the place on the grenade where the antenna normally goes, (with a gutted CFL bulb next to it). But again, I didn't notice any improvements in bulb brightness from this kind of superposition.
  One more thing, if I turn my Kacher tower on it's side, it won't work, and stops oscillating. Any one else have this happen?

I'm afraid that having studied Ruslan's videos and tried to replicate his device, I am steering clear of anything he shows!

These PSU's are very cheap Chinese imports and I'm quite sure looking around his workshop, that he can afford to modify a PSU or two to entertain his audience. As for the modification itself, its very easy, just eight interconnecting wires needed for my mod. Ruslan could have done it with just four wires, as he does not need a working PSU and it looks from the very few available clips I have studied, that he removed the inductor and HF step-down transformer to make clear space for the battery. Stepping up to around 220V using the inverter in the first box - easy. The 900V across the cap was just eye candy IMO.

these are shots of my kacher running at 525Khz (approx)
noted some frequencies... have fft centered on different frequencies...


Removing scope from circuit, frequnecy goes up to 1.1Mhz  ...
think the ringing at 4mhz is still there....


the 2 and 3 pictures are from a scope lead draped across the kacher...


moved probes to base and collector, which doubled the capacitance and it started to not work...


There is a program 'bug brain' still availalbe for download; but it's a 16 bit installer, so you have to manually extract it.   it's a lab that allows you to design a brain for a bug using neurons and drag and drop routing ; kinda like electronic routing packages... but during a test you can't click on the board or you get a abort and a 'Don't Touch the brain!" ...

after read and re-read almost Kapanadze replications here, it seems hard to replicate kapanadze device. So many variations and circuit. Theres no room for begginer like me.
Whats part list exactly for best long term use, and so on. Electricity probably too difficult for me to grasp.
