  Reinventing the Akula/Ruslan device can take you forever.  Better to stick with what already has been shown to work. What ever diagram or schematic that may be.  Your guess is as good as mine.

  I think that it's time to work from a simple working system, and develop and improve upon that.
  And not start with the most recent and most complicated scheme.

I highly recommend sticking to this circuit.  You can easily replace the push-pull driver with an audio amplifier and sine wave signal generator.  You may have to flip the polarity of the induction heater coil as Ruslan stated.  The values here are for a grenade coil length of 34.45 meters and an induction heater coil length of 17.22 meters.  You should be able to obtain those lengths with tightly wound coils using 10 AWG stranded electrical wire, all on a 48.9mm O.D. tube.  Note of caution:  The induction heater coil will require you to make at least three layers, with just a few turns extra on a fourth layer to get all 17.22 meters of wire put down.

Get this built, tuned and working, then we can talk about how you excite it.

... could you demonstrate that these are in fact correct by producing a self-runner outside of a workshop environment. I just need an honest yes or no, as I appreciate you may not wish to publicly demonstrate a self-running device.

Depends on if that is requirement for your own satisfaction or just curiosity.
Either way, I am not paid to do that and the life situation I am in allows to produce test setups only in hands of other people. Which was also done back in 2010 on Yoke device in Lithuania with the following long unsuccessful attempts to explain on replication which was tricky even for myself ...
Time will tell when another energy device will see the light.

Thanks TomTech29. I don't understand this about the 1/2 transformer ratio. The grenade coil makes a 1/2 transformer
ratio with what? The grenade coil is only one coil, although the coil is divided into two halfs, with each half wound in
opposite directions.
