Grum while your on what do you think about grenade coil is it 1 standing wave or 14 x 1/4 ? and if so what of the other coils ? T1000 can you please explain ?? over to you ! ;) ;) ;)

My experience with the grenade is limited to " Fallout 4 " !!  ;)

I can't help you there as I tried to replicate Akula's MK 2 device and also the Chibinidze device both seemed to have an internal choke " drossel " but no grenade style coil.

With my Akula demo I was reading 10 Kv p/p at roughly 75 kHz on the internal 650 turn coil. Plenty of free electrons for the taking !!  ;)

one Russian site describes a Tesla device with the inner coil set at a 1/4 wave of out side coil or 1/2 wave for out side coil. if that helps. ref Ruslans page if its still on

Why you bother with quarters? As Akula said just calculate your grenade as the first two layers to be the half of the total length. Then 3-4 layers start from the middle of the first two. This way you make the ends of each layer of the 6, to sit on a node.

There is a notification right next to this component showing a 0-300Hz range. So i guessed that he is talking about a thyristor, discharging the output dc/cap at more useful frequencies.

I didn't design the coil but as i said one of the Russian guys explains how it works and Tesla used a 1/4 wave inner coil and a half wave outer coil or you can use full wave, in Ruslans coil 12 + 12 is 1/4 + 1/4 and so on but he does not explain how to add ccw or cw winds or how to deal with them he used a different technique we need to ask T1000. but 12 t = 1/4 wave  24 t = 1/2 w 48 + full wave got it ? the problem is still a problem as now you don't know how many waves you have in the grenade so you don't know the length of wire to use in the katcher, confusing or what ?
