All it was talked about is unstable mode where you get standing waves and unstable jumping amplitudes.
And it is wave inside wave. How you get amplifying current from the ground connection is nothing mentioned at all there.
And nobody ever try to explain that. So up to you to find out still.

hi,
in the blue box are the modifications I made to this circuit
which gave me interaction with the earth. in case anyone wants to evaluate it.
if you use a value of 10uH to 100uH or something like that. keep in mind that
it will burn a lot of mosfet. it is better to use from 10mH onwards.
a variable power supplay. Careful up to one volt could burn your mosfet. If you do it well.
it will have a high current in the ground wire.
NickZ, use 100mH(choke coil) instead of 100uH and You will see how different it is.
Be careful, mosfets can burn.
