Should we leave this thread on overunity.com ?

No, delete this thread, political things don't fit over here.

sorry i just can't do it. yes i see your point of view and have thought about it before. i am not going to be voting while knowing that my vote just might get un/counted. what if there is no fraud you say? why do you think their system is closed source to begin with? (i am not saying all closed source systems are bad) and i don't care if fraud is less then .1% it's the principle of the matter. because each vote should be counted for. there is a difference between hoping your vote gets counted for and knowing your vote gets counted for. if they can't guarantee each vote gets counted for then i will not participate. i guess we can agree to disagree? anyways this is going off topic here, maybe we should start a new thread on this?

My personal opinion, take it or leave it, is that if you don't vote, for whatever reason, you then give up the right to complain about this administration, or that policy...etc.  I know several people in my area that always complain about political stuff, and when I ask them who they voted for, they say.."Oh, I didn't vote."  And then, I say, "Shut up then."
I don't expect many of you here to agree with this point of view, but it is mine, and I stated it. Thanks to this wonderful country, you are all free to have your opinions as well.

just because some people don't vote does not mean they have given up.

like i said, i just need to know my vote (or "complaint") gets counted for and not have to hope it gets counted for.

I'm late to this discussion so this may have been covered but: How do you know your vote is counted now with the traditional lever machines?

FreeEnergy

that is just it i don't know if my vote is really being counted for because these "traditional lever machines" are closed source machines instead of open source. only a few people know how these machines operates and only a few have access to it.
