I could have obtained catastrophic health ins. for $100/month with a $5,00 deductible.  Now, with obama care, the same policy is $800/month with a $12,000 deductible.  I am a single white guy and there are no subsidies for me.  This represents about 75% of my GROSS income which is, of course, not possible for me to be able to pay.  So, they can go screw themselves I am not playing this stupid game, nor will I pay any stupid fine.  I have not been to a Dr. in 20 years so, I am not costing anyone anything.  Thankfully, there are millions and millions of my fellow Americans that are saying the same thing.  They can't lock us all up.

Oh, I just heard today that most pre-existing conditions are not covered either under this great program.  Gee, I heard him say that they were.

Is universal healthcare a bad idea?

Think about it like this...  Imagine the American healthcare system as it was. Now add the Government into the mix. The Gov is going to pay itself handsomely to intervene. Does that make it cheaper and better? OB "The health care law is not a tax" Supreme Court "its a tax"

The original goal was to insure 30mil people that did not have healthcare(some dont want it). The amount of money already spent on OBcare could have paid for them over and over, without millions of people that 'had' their own plans and got canceled. And now seeing their premiums go up, for less coverage, different doctors and increased deductibles. 

And if it was so bad before, then why didnt they just fix that with rules. They have already put the new rules in place with OBcare, so its not like it could not have been done without huge costly involvement. 

Its not about healthcare. its just about taxing till the well is dry.

Just like 'global warming'   lol. One state ended the school year early because of non stop snow.

Global warming is not the great choice of words lately. Its been so snowed out that now it is just 'climate change'.   have you noticed?       One way or the other, its just a ploy to impose regulations and taxation, including on us for breathing co2, eventually.  There are articles on that subject.

Yeah, he said a lot of things.    I wasnt into politics before this presidency. I listened to some of what he said back then. Didnt sound bad at all. My brother and I fought over it, me thinking my brother was just prejudging.  But now when I go back and listen.. "Fundamentally change America", now I know what he meant.    And the rest is all the same language.    Ever read his books? One tells all about how to bring down the USA. And its all going as planned pretty much, and fast. Glen Beck exposed that and all the communist people around him. Glen Becks fatal move was exposing the Fed a a private entity. Thats why he lost his show on Fox.  He shows up on the show here n there though.

But she does try to influence what we eat.  Its ironic that she talks about her organic garden on TV shows, but meanwhile, as of 2yrs ago, at least 9 people in high positions at the FDA originally worked in high positions at our very own GMO corporation.
