Searls magnetic device is basically the same just using magnets instead of coils.

As he says, if coils are corectly configured they will connect with the vortex between.  Still there is lots of variables to play with.  In the centre, I want to start with the flat coil for start.

There is so much in Electromagnetic's we still have to discover. I have said this for a long time. Faraday's Law is only the start of the description to Electromagnetic Induction.

The papers of William J Hooper are perhaps the most enlightning of their kind and no doubt will be an invaluable resource for many well into the future.
