Let me tell a little storey, from my point of view.

I left some time back on this thread to get away from the GOON Squad.

They tried to get all dirty and shut down the thread...

Then I found out, they took the Ideas I gave them and started a new thread, separately.

Some small successes were made for a short time, then it all fell to pieces.

Seriously people, watch out! There is a ton of real dirty people out there! No one is here to help you, they are out to help themselves at any cost! Very dirty and Low behaviour from Juveniles.

Why don't you tell the TRUTH? Nobody "tried to shut down" any threads.... you bailed because you couldn't provide evidence for your claims and you only wound up demonstrating your incompetence. Who got "down and dirty"? Anyone can go back in this thread and see the answer to that, in all the insulting images and foul pottymouth insults you and your sock puppet Enjoykin posted, page after page of them, having nothing at all to do with the topic. Just like you tried to do yesterday with pages of irrelevant nonsense interjected in an "Ains-lie" attempt to bury the real work being done.

No need to test me... the later has the higher end energy output.

Yes.

but don't you think that if you would get a higher power output from the off time, the bulb would also be brighter on average?

I dont know what you mean by heat taking an average path?.

Now take:
1.5V @ 1 amp at 1% on time at 1KHz and
0.5V @ 500mA at 20% on time at 1KHz,
...hook it up to a lightbulb and see which one is brighter. 

You may be supprised.
But lets keep it close to my experiment.
Lets run the light bulb on 3 volt's @ 191mA at a duty cycle of 95%. This is 573mW of power going to the globe.
Then lets switch to 20 volt's @ 15.82mA at a duty cycle of just 5%. This is 320mW of power.
Now which one do you think will make the light bulb brighter?.
