Geologists say it appears to be a groundwater related slide more so than a crack opening up due to tectonics.

Fortunately, your several predictions of imminent doom have not been all that accurate...

I believe one of the biggest problems Humans have faced as a species is the Miss-Interpretation of Words and Sentences. In saying this, a huge Crack opening up is a fairly major event, especially if you live on to of it!

I also love the "groundwater" bit!!! Now for anyone that has been following, see below, Mexico, Desert, Ground water, just look at it all:

The crack in Mexico, that's not what you posted and not what I commented on.

Although we are indeed in the midst of the sixth great extinction, the little tidbits of imminent doom you have posted in the past have, fortunately, not occurred.

You have a way with words PW, that is for sure.

If it was not the case that all these things were not happening all around the same time, events we have hardly seen at all in history, like Sink Holes and the massive scope of them today, then maybe one or two of these occurrences could just be explained away.

But, alas, any mind that has a Conscious Thinking Spirit attached, surely logical questions ensue...
