Yes
Only when you center tap the two windings,will you get any power. There will be no power output available from the end of the two windings,as one cancels  out the other due to the winding directions of the two !search! coils.

Sorry Tinman, this is not correct!

Look again from a Magnetic Field point of view and look at how the Magnetic Fields Interact together! I can promise you that an EMF is generated in a perfectly normal fashion!

Lets just say that we are going through the half cycle that produces the magnetic fields from the primary as depicted below. If A is say ten turns clockwise,and B is ten turns anticlockwise,then no EFM is produced across A B. I do have the core to build this very transformer-if you would like me to build it and show you. You stipulate the turn ratio's for primary and the two secondaries,and i will build it and test it.

Hi Tinman,

Turns Ratio needs to be approximately 1:3 - Primary:Secondary

Be careful, this setup can very easily damage your equipment!
