EmJunkie, as you see the flux must be uniform and perfectly symmetrical. The only way to accomplish  that is to have air coils, but not in the symmetry you had shown us. It's really theoretically easy to imagine how it must be arranged in space to get the required effect of eliminating Lenz law response on primary (!) coil.

No one is asking the hard questions...


Question:   How is it that Partnered Output Coils put nearly no load on the existing Coils?

Answer:   Because each Field Induced is actually assisting, adding to the Magnetic Fields that are in the System.


Each Field, as the Current increases in the Partnered Output Coils, Assists in the opperation of its partner, its a Field effect situation!!! As Charge in the Coils are separated, more charge flows, the higher the Magnetic Fields. Its like the Child on the swing, a little push and the swing gets higher and higher untill an equilibrium is reached. Thus, we saw a small change on the input in the video, at Connection/Disconnection but inbetween there is a balancing back to the orriginal Input.

Each Partnered Output Coil is putting the Other Coil under Pressure. This Equilibrium is brought into an unbalanced state.

Air Cores have been reported by a few different people. Floyd Sweet was said to have used Air Cores, but this I am skeptical about. I think this was a possible missunderstanding.

The  Vacuum  Triode Amplifier (VTA) invented  by  Floyd Sweet  consists of two ferrite magnets and two to four coreless  wire  coils.

I think, cant prove it, and dont intend to try, but I think each Coil has a Core, the Core was Separated in Two parts, one top and one bottom of each Power Output Coil, each core having an Air Gap between them, thus an Air Core could be implied in the Middle.



As you say, Donald Smith mostly used Air Cores.

I have not been able to make Air Cores work!

I am guessing they only work at High Frequency and I am not using any High Frequency.

I can assure you, this does work at low Frequency with SI, Ferrite, Powdered Iron, Metglas... Whatever Core you choose... There is nothing special to this, no secrets anymore, I have given all anyone needs to get started. This I promise you!!!

My experience is that it works better with a Core. I hear what youre saying, but my experiencs does show other wise.

Forest, I think its also important to see the facts.

Although it was said that Floyd Sweet used Air Cores, we have proof that this was not always the case: Shown in the below image is a large Ferrite Core.
