Hey Forest - Agreed!

From the view of a person with little to no Science Knowledge, then the un-seen or the un-detectable is "Nothing" ?

If we ask ourselves, What is the most basic, fundamental components of the Magnetic Field from a Permanent Magnet, we must say, the Union of Un-Paired Electron Spins, the Magnetic Moments of all the Billions of Electrons in the Magnetic Material, Ferrite or what ever.

So, the Permanent Magnet, the Magnetic Field of the Permanent Magnet is a DC Current (The Electron's Magnetic Moments, billions of them together)

How is the Permanent Magnet Bought into Being?


   A very Large DC Current Polarises the Domains, giving an Orientation, thus the total or gross Spins are in the Same Polarity giving rise to the Magnetic Field.


So the fundamental base for a Permanent Magnet is Natures DC Current - The Earth has the exact same fundamental component: Van Allen Belts - See below Image.

Like all magnificent things, it's very simple.

Experiments show that the Magnetic Field is made up from a Collection Currents however:  Thomson's Model of the Electron Configuration
