3 led night light.

This will not go for 'decades'... my estimation is: maybe some months or 1 year.
How much current is going to the circuit, at which voltage ?
Without any measurements it's difficult so say anything.

Yeah they do supply power for decades, with proper cleaning of the electrodes at least once a year or so, Ive been making them a very long time, they are one of my oldest inventions even, if you want to call it an invention lol, and they can power almost any low current device. And if you must know yeah im over half a century old so Im not making crap up as they say, been there done that and knows what Im talking about. They will not supply power forever however, as electrodes do ever slowly erode away. But it can take decades as they are in only plain water, no salts, no acids involved. And if they are made larger the electrodes would last even longer. Just filling in the gaps you may be missing there :) Oh as to power, they usually average around 1.5 volts more or less depending on several factors relating to size, length of copper used, distance between electrodes so on and so forth. This is low current here, not high current as you may find in the average lets say AA store bought battery. But low current can power many low current things. The standard AA store bought battery is high current, meaning they use salts, acids and other chemicals in the battery to essentially burn up its electrodes very fast. But as it does that it supplies high current output for a very short time. Water batteries use no salts or acids, they supply low current non stop for decades and the electrodes burn up very very slowly get it.

You have to calculate how much metal is consumed per amount of energy (Wh) and then you will see that it's exactly the same as in 'high-current' batteries. So there is no 'free energy' and also no 'overunity' involved here. Only a normal battery which is optimized for low-current but it's quite big and requires regular maintanance so i still don't see any real use case for it.

Its advantage is it supplies power non stop for years to decades even. Some would see that as useful, others would not. And perhaps a lot relates to how much money you have to waste. As to size yes they can be made smaller, Im just showing the plain basic, simple to make variety as it were. And of course another advantage is its non toxic, uses no acids and is safe for the environment. Of course like all types of batteries when added in series the power increases even with water batteries. So it all really depends on what you want to use them for I guess. Best Wishes!
