Two of Cadman's devices could resupply each others supply / origin reservoirs, if their operation are 180 out as synchronization.

Cadman and Grummage were doing builds or at least partial builds, at that time.
I don't know what Cadman and Grummage came to as conclusions.

I concluded that the method (by drawings only) came to exactly unity only
(before considerations of losses).

I assume the others came to the same conclusion ?

Notes..

Its hard to say which is more offensive and which is more difficult.
Playing the critique, or the optimist. 

Either way, the O.U. search / game leads to lots of fails.
     but
It also leads to lots of learning, if  one can become good at
assimilating disappointment.
