It is possible, that the people do not die from COVID19, but the dead are counted correctly, and the numbers are much higher than last April, significantly.

In your case I would not go to hospitals in Italy (or Austria) to tell them they did not count the elevated number of dead correctly. This would not end well for you.

In my opinion most whining about surveillance have something to hide which is why the fact that I am being watched as a FE researcher means little to me. Do your worst perverts, watch and record everything I do but know I am better than that and your kind because I will not lower myself to that level... Really, surveillance is just another form of "peeping tom" only the perverts, ie politicians and military like to justify it under the guise of national security. Some find it offensive but to be honest I have always found it comical that some dipshit may be spying on me, lol.
