It's kind of mind boggling however I think I'm starting to understand whats going on.

I think this fake news and conspiracy theories started to hide Russian interference and the blackmail of trump and all his lies, corruption and such. However I don't think they expected any rational person to believe there bs to this extent. I don't think they expected that this many people could be so gullible so they kept doing what works. I think the Russians just wanted to disrupt the U.S. economy to gain an advantage however now were actually talking about the Russians making trump into a tin pot dictator to gain control.

So why has it worked so well?, It's not the republican/democrat nonsense in my opinion it's religion driving the mob mentality. Trump and the Russians convinced the far right populists they are the superior race just like Adolf Hitler did. As such they think nothing of lying, dehumanizing and degrading others while always claiming to be the victim... pulled right out of the pages of Mein Kampf.

The mistake most are making is the same one the Germans made in thinking the facts and reason would prevail but it didn't because were dealing with a mob mentality. So we should understand that given the chance the populists will turn the U.S. into a dumpster fire and make trump there supreme ruler like Putin. They will betray their country and everything it stands for because there religious fervor knows no bounds. Were already seeing them gunning down people in the streets, a proverbial bible in one hand and an assault rifle in the other.

God wins, and they would betray there country, it's values, it's people and become Communists to win. So we should understand this was always a religious war and we all know how that turns out. So given the chance I expect them to burn there own country to the ground to get what they want. Putin would be proud and is probably laughing his ass off right now, lol.

Brexit was most likely a Russia op to destabilize the European Union through a "divide an conquer" mentality not unlike the Dem/Rep division in the U.S. While everyone is fighting each other and grows weaker the Communists grow stronger.

All the populist leaders who denied Covid following trumps lead caused unnecessary suffering and damage to the economy which again served the Communists interests. Russia and China seem to be doing well, I wonder why?.

However this has nothing to do with reason or conscience and the greater majority of trumps base have bought into white nationalism and populism/theism. There version of law and order is...
-Reelecting trump at any cost, stacking the supreme court to criminalize abortion and forcing theism/Communism on our children.
-Closing the borders, stopping immigration and bringing back a new version of slavery or indentured servitude.
-Then a version of Communism with a dictator like trump who ensures there can be no free or fair elections and there power to corrupt can continue.

Now trump is denigrating and dehumanizing the military and the intelligence agencies illegally placing in term people in power as scapegoats. They place someone like Dejoy, the postmaster general, to rig the postal service rigging the election for trump. At best Dejoy will be fired but that doesn't change the fact the election was rigged. They place a turd like Barr, the attorney general to stop all legal action against trump and be his whipping boy. At best Barr is fired but all the damage has already been done. Look at Cohen, he did all trumps dirty work to cover up the pornogroping thing and collusion with Russia but only Cohen went to jail... there scapegoats.

Trump places brain washed scapegoats to do all the corrupt dirty work, throws them under the bus and he gains power. Trumps supporters are also scapegoats because if trump becomes a dictator and the U.S. becomes Communist they all lose there freedom. As you imply, trump and his supporters become Putin's bitches serving Russia's interests not there own.

I think all this stems from trump being caught on video doing some sadistic things with a couple Russian prostitutes. He is probably being blackmailed by the Russians to be a good little want to be dictator or lose everything. Obviously trump only cares about trump and it seems pretty obvious he would sell out his country to save face and become a supreme ruler like his new pal Putin.

If this happens were basically looking at WW3 and everybody loses so we should understand there are no winners here... we all lose.

Yes, indeed.
All too often, people see science as a spanner to hit others with, often using confusion or ambiguity to get the point accepted. The problem with the covid debate on this thread and others is that people who believe that what is written is always accurate, or even  in good faith, may pay a very high price.

When facts are no longer facts the gullible and naive will believe almost anything in my opinion. They could believe any bullshit no matter how absurd if enough doubt and fear are spoon fed to them day after day. So I wouldn't consider all this anti-science/fact nonsense random opinions and I don't believe that many people could be that stupid.

I suspect the Communists may have set up massive call centers like in India with fake identities to saturate the internet with propaganda. Why wouldn't they?, it's cheap and efficient and one person on a high bandwidth connection with notifications could spam every FE site on the planet. A call center could hit millions of forums and news comment sections in a day so why wouldn't they?. Get every crackpot and gullible person all worked up and hooked on this shit then start brain washing them into believing whatever they want.

It's also interesting how all the anti science/fact responses are short and sound scripted. There all repetitive, short in length and never respond to any questions when prompted for more detailed facts or proof of there claims. It begs the question... are they just stupid or paid per response?.

I'm just not buying it and my intuition tells me there is much more to this than we know. Look at India, they have large numbers of call centers with hundreds of people spamming millions of people with telephone scams. So why not do the same with Communism/Populism to cast doubt on science, facts, democracy and freedom?.
