Several years ago I made the mistake of buying an iCloud locked iPhone.  The seller told me it was locked and had bought it himself from a person who probably forgot to unlock it or turn off that function.   I thought after skimming all the 'fixes' for that problem online that I could get by it as easily as I did some Android phone Google locks.  It turned out the online BS was just typical youtubers and others trying to get hits for false info.  It took almost 5 years but I finally hacked through the supposed impossible to crack iCloud lockout.   It was a challenge and a puzzle I spent hundreds of hours on and was truly surprised when I bypassed it.   Not sure if it will work on other iphones - this one was an iphone 5.  Send me a PM and I'll tell you what I did.
