The problem with beliefs is that they always tend to go hand in hand with hypocrisy and double standards...
That is, most have no problem claiming others beliefs are nonsensical and unfounded however if one should ever question there own, look out. Apparently they are all for free speech and voicing an opinion... so long as it echoes there own, lol.

Climate change is no different and no matter how many facts, droughts, firestorms, choking clouds of smoke, floods, overflowing land fills, endless factory farms and polluted air/water the deniers see it's not there fault or a problem. Do you know what I find interesting, whenever I mention climate change around some of my friends they automatically get triggered as if I'm accusing them of wrongdoing. Which begs the question... if they have done nothing wrong then why do they act so guilty?.

As they say... People who have nothing to hide, hide nothing.

So we should understand that facts seldom enter the equation for believers and there is no amount of facts that can prove anything to them. There in lies the problem doesn't it?, it's literally speaks volumes and no further explanations are required. Those who deny the facts like pollution and global warming simply cannot be trusted to make responsible choices.

I mean, would you trust your banker, employer, friends or family if they told you the facts don't matter and they were going to just make stuff up without any proof instead?, lol. It's completely absurd... isn't it?.

I digress, however I would note you just proved my point.

I remember not long ago when many here were trashing anyone who believed in climate change and nobody to my knowledge asked them to "take it down a notch". The same could be said of my belief in science or Atheism and few think twice about criticizing it harshly on every level.

I will digress and point out it's always the scientific/fact orientated doing as much, isn't it?. Were always the ones being told not to talk about certain subjects while the other side seems to have no such limitations.
