I was just wondering why most of the skeptics seemed to be e-mail-hidden.

I will not write too much lines as my native language is not English.

I'm sure that you are clever enought to avoid some viro-gram (?) nuisance.

I also can guarantee you that giving your e_mail on this very forum will not bring you a load of spamming idiots. Why? just because you have to be member to see the email and the robots cannot be members. Actually the spams come froms the robots not from the forum members. The worst to be expected is to get a friendy email. That is all what I got... Most of the guys here are nice. Are they not?

I?m spammed at least 40-50 messages /day on every public e-mail address I?ve shared in the past.
Robots spamming is one easy problem. Human spamming is different because one can be very insistent. And they all start with a ?friendly? message. Well, the bottom line is there are not many persons I can personally reply. I simply do not have enough time. Then, what?s the accusation: that I?m not sharing my e-mail address and instead of replying to my actual and close contacts to start replacing them and replying to various friendly persons occasionally contacting me, persons that I really don?t know who they are?! I mean, instead of going on with my real life, just to throw it away to be able to respond to other messages?! Or to share my e-mail address just to be shared and then to let all the mails un-answered because they are un-important and I really don?t have time for them?! Either way, it would be wrong, imho.
I?m guilty for that, if this is the issue. But I?d like to keep my contacts as they are and my life as it is.
   
If you need one of my e-mail addresses, just ask for it.
Otherwise, I have no reason to share them.
I?m fully contactable and I don?t see your point.

No, I?m not French, like I?ve replied in my PM to you.
But science and experiments are really not country-dependant, are they?!
So, what?s the relevance of mixing national and international stuff with personal life and experiments? It will ?lead-out? nothing more than a bad-smelling pie.

I think the original poster is trying to point out you are not open for communication to us. Just like all the other skeptics.

Now you can try call us spammers for wanting to have a private conversation with you. But the subject was you not having an email address.

Given the liberty you take ranting people the least you can do is make an email address and check that every 12 months or so. But I guess that is to much to ask from you? You want to debunk things not talk about them. Just like all the other skeptics. Now you are debunking email, right after telling me how little messages my forum will get. Yeah right!

You claim perpetual motion doesn't exist because scientists investigated all devices and non of them worked. But everyone knows science is not the least interested, not even slightly tempted to investigate the likes if such. This means they never looked at any of the devices in the passed either.

Now you complain about spam from overunity.com ?? You don't have an email address listed, you have no way of knowing.

You skeptics just hate the idea of people answering their obnoxious questions. You are not going to tell me my personal message to you is spam before I write it, that's just delusional. If making an extra email address is to much to ask you really are not worth talking to.

It fits rather well with how you copy and past peoples entire websites into the forum. You do that in a very "so that no one has to visit their site" kind of way. You have no permission to republish things like that. It's considered theft. But in an email you can send content from as much sites combined as you like and it will always be appreciated. It's like having your fingers in your ears and going LALALALALALALALALLALALA Thats the impression you give.

But I must add, if it was just you it wouldn't be so weird.  The way all skeptics have no gmail,yahoo,hotmail box is the interesting bit. That alone should be reason enough for you to put something up? It gives the impression you are behind a corporate firewall doing a job that doesn't involve serious conversation rather the exact opposite.

My option of publicly talking with 7500+ members in the same time instead of chit-chatting one on one is mine. It?s my right to choose when and to whom I desire to develop a close conversation.

I can also develop the impression that all who share their e-mail want more than to be simply contacted. They want free publicity for one reason or another.
For instance, I might assume that you want free publicity for your website. So, like any webmaster counting every click, you might have an interest in putting your addresses here, right?
Other persons may want to sell something. Or to sell just adds by bringing visitors to their site. Or they want to promote their ideas, no matter what, in sites or blogs mixing politics, free energy, Iraq issues, illuminati, music, nasa, paranormal, physics, apocalypse, comedy, Tseung and so many others as well as affirmations like ?Newton was so wrong?, all into the same place. I mean, try at least making a sentence with those words, in you can. Wow, but that?s about the whole world, for Christ sake. Just an answer to every possible question, like a kind of God of our times. Why not simply downloading the Internet and place it there?!
Or maybe some are soo alone and pity in their life that they publish their e-mail into the free world just to let the others know they exist. Who knows?!

I hope you can save the video, which is really nice, but remove also that Newton statement, which is untruthful and a real shame.

Of course, the above can wait for you to solve some more urgent issues humanity may have right now, but still, at least consider it on your agenda, will you?
