It looks like it could work in as in this video once he gets his second batch of magnets.
The question is whether the rotation force is powerful enough to perform work besides being self running?
If there is just a small amount of excess energy it's really great, but then the motor must be built in a super big
scale to provide any useful output. Probably a lot bigger than most households can accommodate.

The force needed to operate a kilowatt generator is equal to the Lenz's law. And when you load a generator 1KW
or more you will be surprised how hard it is to turn the shaft of the generator. It takes raw torque and speed.

For reference if anyone tries.  His design looks very promising indeed.  Looks like all he needs is three magnets and he's set.. Seems like the metal is carrying over the attraction overlapping the repulsive end.  Perfect..

Well if its just self sustaining then that would be  great, first we just need a proof of concept that would shed some light onto this subject, disproving the laws of thermodynamics then once thats recognized to not be exactly correct hardcore R&D with all the new support and interest.
