Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Kohei Minato and the Japan Magnetic Fan Company:
http://www.rexresearch.com/minato/minato.htm
This link has the details from two patent applications that describe how Minato's motor works.

Quotes from the above URL :
"They've just sold 40,000 units to a major convenience store chain. Now will you see it?"
In Japan, no one pays for 40,000 convenience store cooling fans without being reasonably sure that they are going to work.
[..] Minato's motors consume just 20 percent or less of the power of conventional motors with the same torque and horse power. They run cool to the touch and produce almost no acoustic or electrical noise. They are significantly safer and cheaper (in terms of power consumed), and they are sounder environmentally.

From my memory of the motor is that there are two key features to making it work:
* the angle of the permanent magnets (M) to the stator electromagnet (M') (see FIG. 6 in US Patent # 5,594,289)
* the pulsing of the stator electromagnet (M')

I searched the entire forum for 'minato' and found nothing. I was a bit surprised.. is it a rehash of existing inventions?

I'm a newbie on this kind of stuff, so go easy on me if it turns out to be rubbish :-)

And another picture of the motor. The two important features on the diagram are:
a) the driving stator electromagnets: top electromagnet (labelled 12) and the bottom electromagnet (labelled 14)
b) the permanent magnets which are labelled 6 and 12

Here is a page with links to useful information on this motor, including reports of 'home powering units' being built in america and japan. Actually I have heard of someone in Australia who is also buildiing these..

hi there, i was reading before some days this:
http://www.sax.de/~stalker/pad/199801/

i was special interested in the "Takahashi-Motor":

seems to me like the same principle - but i did not found more stuff and information about it. Maybe the name in this article is wrong (Yasunori Takahashi) and they mean Kohei Minato.
Btw. i think kind of shielding is the most interesting way to get some kinetic work from magnetic energy - thats why iam very interested in those stuffs especially in wizkycho's RPMM - because it might produce much more power than Minato's Motor - i hope i can test some of these concepts next months personally ...

wizkycho

problem is complexity of design and at my scale it reaches 90%.
