    Gather up a couple of crickets and give em whatever they need to populate a couple of thousand square feet.  Feed em some waste laced with cricket aphrodisiacs so they really start chirpping.  Putt a lattice of piezo electric transducers (chip grown should be cheap) at the end of a resonant cavity that focuses the energy at their emission frequency.  Run away fast before they make you deaf.   Stop laughing now.  The pyramids have these granite stones that form this giant resonator.  On the top floor they found dead bug bodies.  From the kings chamber is this resonant cavity and down at the end of that is a channel down to a tunnel with electrodes coming from the end.  Maybe they were using cricket sound energy to cause ionization in a liquid to form a battery.
