Ok so I was getting a little bored, and it's too hot in the house, so I went down in my basement. I fired up my Kromrey converter for the first time swince I got the brushes aligned so they work correctly. The voltage on my charge battery went from 12.45 to 12.50 in a matter of seconds, and that is the "resting" voltage once I let it set for a few minutes after turning it off. Problem is, it burnt all the insulation off the wire that goes from my source battery to the motor. All the other wires were fine. Hmmmm. Does this mean my motor was pulling too many amps for my wire? I am just a half retired beginner when it comes to electronics. Anybody out there who knows anything got any ideas?

Stop this nonsense talk. It's his own fault. There is no world order who can control and suppress the internet, as long as writing skills, documentation skills, youtube, free file hosts, forums etc exist. And they do. If there are reasons why there isn't a breakthrough in any new kind of technology it is because either
a) it is not a great invention at all, or
b) utter incompetence in presenting the technology

Regarding Joulethiefs, TPUs and the "kicks": as long as these "kicks" are not able to power a motor (which they aren't) there is no great effect in it at all. A nice gimmick, nothing more. Powering some LEDs will not save the world. Please get real...

You don't know shit , ist showed a 60w incandescent bulb lighting on his neo-crap , that is the reason people noticed .

But he did it with 16v 4 amp , to him and some newbie it looks impressive
, lighting a 60w bulb intermittently using 64 watt , that is useless .

You may thinks but still you don't know shit , you are getting fooled by your good intent .
