To understand the action of the local condenser E in fig.2 let a single discharge be first considered. the discharge has 2 paths offered~~ one to the condenser E the other through the part L of the working circuit C. The part L  however  by virtue of its self induction  offers a strong opposition to such a sudden discharge  wile the condenser on the other hand offers no such opposition ......TESLA..

THE !STORE IS UP AND RUNNING ...  WE ARE TAKEING ORDERS ..  NOW ..   ISTEAM.CA   AND WE CAN AND WILL BUILD CUSTOM COILS ...  OF   LARGER  OUTPUT ...

Just to get sure: so basically I can't see any great OU or strange effects if not using at least a MOT and a minimum power source (the 12VDC adapter you suggested) ?  :-\

From the circuits posted before the LED "lives" from the peaks, but it's more like "phantom" strength which breaks in as soon as a stronger load (e.g. 600mW light bulb) is connected :s

I just wanted to add the following: I received different results from either using an aircoil or my 8V/220V transformer box. However I decided to put the 8V/220V transformer on the circuit again as seen on the picture attached. Since I fried my last transistor I put a resistor into the base. I replaced the resistor with different ones and found out that the one at 10 KiloOhms the brightness of the diode was remarkably best of all ??? Smaller and higher resistors lead to worse results.
I checked with the oscilloscope and came upon a frequency of about 444hz. I don't know if it is coincidence that that this frequency is middleton A as well ??? (attaching an earphone to it nicely played that sound...).

I wonder if the measured data is usable power: since shortcircuit current of battery directly in between the poles is: 1.5V*1A = maximum delivery of 1.5 Watt

10/no resistor: 30*36 ~ 1.1 Watt
10 K Resistor:  44V*54mW ~ 2.4 Watt
680K Resistor: 7V*70mA ~ 0.5 Watt

...I don't know if this 2.4 Watt is a "phantom wattage" or not, because it is above the 1.5 wattage from the battery. When I tried investigate it more detailed today I realized however the transistor died again... :P

@IST: I know this topic principally covers more the plasma type of things ("neo-zap") - maybe cuasing effects Tesla called "cold electricity". This also would apply to the arrangement you use when showing experiements with light/plasma arc and magnet spark gaps.

This however is not what I try to achieve at the very first place, mainly because it needs a strong power supply from the grid. I don't like this explicite need for that very much because what do you do if you have no power grid anymore? I see the holy grail in some kind of device like the Thestatika which didn't need any power supply at all from the grid, or the "Coler device" which only needed very small battery input power.

I posted in this topic however because you wrote some pages before that you go back to the basics, in order that people understand this and you referred to Joulethief circuits, so I hope I was not writing completely offtopic in here and learned something.
