Suspicious Earthquakes Under Yellowstone Lake

To me, this just seems like way too many quakes under one lake, for it to be a natural occurrence...said with visions of HAARP in the backdrop of my mind.

Good catch Cap-Z-ro,

If that area goes off, it would be a major disaster for the US and World: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone_Caldera. I am hoping that thermoelectric generation would reduce the pressure before it goes off again.

hi Cap-Z-ro;
  that aria is going to go off with or without HAARP'S help it has in the past and it will again. hopefully it will be far off into the future and Humanity will be more prepaired. I do agree that putting a magnet several million times stronger than the Earth's own magnetic field at near right angle to the spinning molten Iron core of the Earth will cause all kinds of havoc and we get to watch the show woopee!

From what I have seen on National Geograhic TV  that area is on a falt line that could have extreme volcanic activity.

According to some scientists, the Yellowstone caldera is the world's largest supervolcano, with an approximate period of 600,000 years. As the last eruption happened over 600,000 years ago, we are supposedly overdue for an eruption that could devastate much of North America. (Think 10,000 Mount St. Helens). With stratospheric ash clouds blocking sunlight for crops, such an event could even lead to global starvation. This topic has already become fodder for some "doomsday" type docudrama's and books. Sleep tight.
