In the Utkin pdf's he seems to imply that having these opposing, oppositely wound coils in series and facing each other like you show on the previous page, that once you start the process in this config, that the oscillations build on their own and a spark gap is necessary to keep it from going to high on its own.

I have some pvc, wire and some 2.5in size flex loom stuff. The flex loom is like say plastic(no spiral wire, just plastic) vacuum cleaner hose(ribbed) split along the length. Ill use it to make consistent spacing between windings, like Don Smith coils.

Ive been meaning to try this for some time. Was just busy and more interested in what I have been doing.

Your drawing is not a Don Smith coil really, unless he has done it your way and I have not seen it, with the trifi windings. But the opposing coil concept is what he used.

Im going with your drawing first. I have no clue as to wire size or number of turns, so I will just wing it, equal on both sides.

Ok, gotta go get Bebe(my kitty) some food. If I just say food or hungry right now, she will MEEEEEEOOOOWWWW.  ;]  She has plenty of hard food and snacks, but she finished her soft food last night.  I try to give her a balance. And shrimp a few nights a week. Don Smith didn't show the correct way to build this coils, his method was very close but something was missing, I wonder why ? Who knows ? Either he didn't knew the detail and was only a "conman" filled with information from a real working team which had the knowledge or he made bugs intentionally.

Btw I'm trying to help little kitty , her name is Maya. I lot of troubles, because I have never had so small cat. She is without mother from second day of her life     and I cannot teach her how to drink milk from a saucer (she is 5 weeks old now)

why don't you take a look at the patent of Tesla that produces high currents, and study carefully or enlarge those connections made by tekla.

Use magnifying glass.Frankly I don't see anything exacept when secondary is closed by spark energy can go via piston to the primary.

If my theory is correct (and we all think our theory is the right one  )

How can we amplify the effect
I think take two magnets and two iron cores, put paper between magnets, iron core on each side, insert into core of the trifilar coil sets, make sure the north of the magnets line up with the north of the coils, we dont want to flip the polarity and break the dipole.

Why I think Ramaro's motor worked
If Im not mistaken all his magnets were n up and s down or maybe it was the other way around
anyway all coils on one side need to be wound cw
and all the coils on the other side need to be wound ccw
the coils and cores on each side need to be offset, this will create an out of phase situation with the voltage and amperage.
dont forget about the shorted coils on each side, this could be accomplished by winding the coils bifilar and shorting one wire.
another clue, his layout was in a horizontal position, this put his magnets and coils in a vertical position, this is very important for a clean signal.
