Hmm, gray device ?!  it`s the standard "Tesla-Kapanadze-Smith-put whoever you like" spark gap that pulses the cap discharges into a coil.
Most guys do use actually wire for their gaps.


It´s not my video, seems to be a second bulgarian who found the right
component values to get this thing going.
450-ish Watt seems to be achievable. Probably a higher load will throw the thing out of resonance too much or the set-up´s components are not yet capable of delivering more.
