nice experiments,
but with what meters did you measure your power ?

As these high levels of High Voltage High Frequency,
there is no easy power measurements possible
with normal meters, cause they all go crazy from this
big RF radiation !

So I would not trust any
voltage or current measurements made in this environment
with normal meters not specially shielded....

Regarding resonance setups, an oddity in my oppinion is the following.

If i apply to a resonating LC system a secondary of few turns that has a load fixed, the the whole system "slows down" naturally.
IF the same secondary is shorted (no load applied) then little if any resonance diminishing is observed.

In my case with the Kacher transmitter and the two receivers, if one is loaded then max lamp brightness is attained. If both are loaded, brightness is diminished and by making correct adjustments (impedance matching) you have a more or less split of power.
BUT, if one receiver has his secondary SHORTed, then other outputs full power as if no other load is applied.

The same thing with my Kacher running the magnifier coil. If in few turns coil (that is wound near to secondary) a bulb is applied, resonance diminishes. if it is shorted, resonance is mainly unaffected.

A remote resemblence i have experience in the past with mechanical setups as Thane Heins perepiteia. Ashorted coil under some circumstances poses no load, whereas if loaded then posses.

This simple phenomenon puzzles me considerably. By considering standard transformer theory that should not happen. A shorted secondary that allows max current development on it should pose max load. Obviously not the case.

two things come to my mind. A dead load (resistance) interferes with current phasing or just the traditional concept of mutual inductunce that leads to diminishing inductunce etc holds no true.

Your views?

Cant you just wind aditional 3-4 Identical coils and TEST how it affects transmitter ? maybe reciever can also act as transmitter?..
I think that test is worth to prove ou here ?

By shorting secondary you kill magnetic field of primary , than primary cant be in resonance with transmitter at that frequency , probably resonance frequency changed, if not in resonance it can not use energy from transmitter.
magnifier ... you will have to draw what you connected on paper


olso you should make variable elevated capacity and tune it at recievers .. use two metal cups that go one into another... when you put load on the reciever resonance freq of reciever changes ...  maybe that way you can adjust higher brightness then you have multiple recievers, and please make more recievers, maybe you can make ou that way

Hi Folks,

Shaded pole motors also have a one or two turn coil working in short circuit and its main purpose is phase shift. 
Could your secondary coils be considered as doing the same role here when short circuited? And when you use a load instead of the short, the R-L phase shift is different, so it has a different effect.  Maybe a 10-20 Ohm high wattage adjustable wire-wound resistor could be used as a load and see its effect when it is set to zero, one or four Ohm etc value.

EDIT: If you short circuit a coil of a few number of turns, it would not kill the total flux of primary because the coupling between them is small and here you involve air core coils, no closed flux path. Definitely introduces some loss but it is negligible, so that is why it is used in shaded pole motors.
