voila voila

i spent saturday and sunday to make measurement. and some were very promising

but sunday afternnoon i decided to make a check with double instrument. And it was a big difference between the two instrument (same producer and same model). In the bad way of course !
And i remember from this test where i opened the SG very much and the bulbs suddenly surged very bright , much more than the test bulbs , and where i could nol see any measure because  The instrument which is normally very stable , was flickening and unusefull.   But after this event everything came to normal and i continued my testing with this same instrument. And it was in reality probably partially distroyed by this earlyer experiment, So all my indication from saturday to sunday are all subject to error.  AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH very sorry for that.

So than i redo everything. From normal kapagen
to reverse kapagen,  that is i installed the bank bulbs to the main copper wire int he center of the coil and the outer big coil to the ground.
than i put away the complete coil but maintained the 2 ground
than i shorted the SG
than i shorted the ground
than direct connection from the MOT to the bank

and so on

than i redo all as per original  naudin shematic , but i worked with changing the diameter and number of the big coil

result   is no OU as per my possibility

I have a  scope  , but i have fired a multimeter instantly . i will be very carefull to make measurement


OK  anyway i have to go back to the blackboard and learn much more about the resonance and tesla work.

Hi there,

I was able to adjust my build such that I eliminated both ground rods and just shorted the two output points where the two ground rods WERE connecting originally to either end of the 5 x 120v 240watt lamp bank all in series as my load.   

The C behind the MOT on the JLN schematic determines how much input current comes thru the MOT.

At .91uF 2100vac the input to the MOT was ~5amps... it lit the lamps in the lamp bank dimly...  I doubled this to 1.82uF and the lamps were brighter than if I'd plugged them into the wall mains... and within about 2 minutes the MOT was starting to smoke from overdraw of ~16-19amps at 120V 60hz mains input so I shut it off.   I then took 2 of the MOT .91uF caps and wired them in series to halve their uF rating and then put the two in parallel with the original .91uF cap for a total capacity of 1.36uF at 2100vac (lowest rated cap is still highest rating for applied volts.)

This lets the MOT draw ~9.5-9.8amps input at 120v 60hz mains.   

Seeing that this power was driving the lamp bank directly thru the MOT I removed both ground leads and just shorted the whole setup directly thru the lamp bank and it all ran as it had before with the grounds actually in place.   

Now I've scoped the Spark gap negative lead indirectly and note that with 1.36uF on there that I get a 60hz arc discharge... thus the MOT with a 1.36uF cap IS NOT stepping up the output side to HIGH FREQUENCY.    I then tried with a 143nF cap in place of the 1.36uF cap and I noted ~300hz arc spark discharges... so its not anywhere near where it needs to be to take effect of a 10meter wavelength between the two earth grounds... eh?    It seems that really whats needed is to move the uF rated cap to be right next to the load and replace the other spot with 10-100pF of capacity to get the MOT output stepped up to MHZ... eh? 

No I'm not canadian.    haha Just dug that flick "Strange Brew" eh.   

Just read and caught up on the odd trafo thingie... 

I'm wondering what the axis of the JLN MOT in the blue box was aligned?    Anyone know offhand?  If that MOT is in the blue box but the axis is pointed at the center of the Air core trafo and the MOT in the box is up against the side of the bluebox with its axis pointing at the air core trafo, perhaps its the MOT's magnetic vibration that is being picked up and drawn off to reduce the input current to the system by reducing the outputs energy drawn directly from the conductors to drawing some of that energy from the combined magnetic interactions maybe?   

Heres a simple experiment.  Fire up the Kapagen and get a screwdriver with an insulated plastic or wooden handle...  hold the insulated handle in hand and put the end of the steel screwdriver over the MOT about 1/2inch above it.   Now, turn on the system.  You feel the action of the magnetic field on the screwdriver in your hand... and you can now move this simple tool around to feel the "reach" of the field... it seems to distend from my laminates about 4-5inches on top and bottom and its centered on the AXIS of the MOT's windings.   

I might think that there would need to be something ferritic in the air core trafo for this flux to couple with, but maybe its not necessary.   I've yet to try this as I just noted the effect with a screwdriver the other day...  I'm curious if RomeroUK has his MOT in any particular alignment with the air core trafo too...

I would like to recall, can you reference where Kapanadze specifically said that

Just to simplify... Kacher?  Why not... "Catcher"? Cause it ... catches... something.

Since this is no russian word it most likely actually is supposed to mean "Catcher", but the cyrillic-latin barrier distorted it.
