No free energy, but they are doing a great job? So they are 300% better failures?!? That doesn't make sense Cosmo. I can light bulbs all day...in fact with just a cap and a spark gap...no ferrite required. I'll be impressed when I see them or you or anyone else post a working design. Until then, comments like that aren't helpful.

I have tried your recommendations 50 ways, and simply do not see anything interesting from it.

I agree with cosmo that the russians are doing a better job in experimenting on this subject, if you look at forums and youtube you see that they do much more experimenting. I think american people listen to bedini to much and only experiment with permanent magnets.

@ CosmoLV, You were talking about HV creates super magnet from ferrite, id you mean super magnet to attract the ions?

Sorry to ask this dumb question but can someone please post the links to Tareils' videos, his original videos and not others replications. There are so many Utube videos on this that I do not know which is the original and which are replications.

Sigma, the circuit needs a kickstart to get it running, that's why the need for an external battery: it's like having a sphere with a rather high friction coefficient on a slight slope: if you don't overcome the friction initially with an external force it won't start rolling, then once it's rolling with the help of it's inertia and this initial stored energy it will continue rolling (if the friction is less than the sphere's total energy considering the slope angle and g). Friction can be seen here as the sum of losses and efficiency. I don't see this fact as a down side.

   It is interesting to note that, if you look at the second picture I attached to msg265198 http://www.overunity.com/index.php?topic=7679.msg265198#msg265198

  nothing is connected to the end of the thick black wire, but to the beginning (with an extension), and the device still worked. Tariel supposedly says (based on the last posts) that this device needs a gnd reference because it has no Y (star) setup with a Neutral for the rotating field (like in an induction motor). So speculating, the thick black gnd cable passing inside the coil may serve as dual purpose, as copper core and as "pivot" for the field generated by the coil(s). The coil may inductively or rather electrostatically act upon the gnd wire for the field oscillation possibly between the external copper coil and the internal gnd wire thus creating a sort of oscillating back and forth "slush" current.
