For the record - I was in no way endorsing anything CosmoLV has or will say about this device. I only cleared up the confusion regarding a circuit he posted with the NE566. He has posted somewhere between 30 and 50 circuits so far from what I recall.

The magic happens in the resonant transformer below the coil and the solenoid coil just pumps it, breaks the symmetry and converts it as I stated about 5 posts ago. Read that post and find the documents it referenced and you will see what I wrote is true.

SR didn't use a NE556 according to his schematic but you can get a similar heterodyned signal with the hex inverting Schmitt trigger and the NE556. Both chips are used to make space sounds in arcade games for example.

Close... You can take small pulse transformer out of an old monitor, place a 100nf dry cap across the primary and when it is resonant, you run that at full load on only about 5ma of current.

The cap conserved the charge and the only energy that is needed is the small losses. Now you place a radio shack 6.2 volt bulb on the secondary and you will have the same amount of light that as a bulb that is connected to the DC source.

Next you place the right magnet near the coil at the right angle and it gets even brighter than just connecting to the DC source. Free energy? Not yet.. That is half the circuit and the half that is below the SR solenoid coil.

Now you go to the solenoid coil that the secondary (running backward for step down) of that resonant isolation transformer is connected and you connect the positive of your load to the end of that coil. The ground of the load is connected to the earth ground and so you have now broken the symmetry and do not destroy the dipole.

So it is like a radio transmitter and that is why I think you need the heterodyned wave since that is how a AM transmitter works.

The schematic is close but would not work as advertised. Read Hectors resonant transformer document and you will understand it better. It looks to be the exact same transformer the Russians are using but the shunted transformer core out of a cheap welder would probably work just fine too. :-))

It's all about symmetry breaking as Utkin stated and the Kapanadze patent shows. Heterodyne seems rather key from my experiments which makes sense.

I see you know what you are talking about. Thank you. I know it is all about asymmetry but there is more to this also imho. With asymmetry you can nullify lenz rule but still it is at best COP=1. (which is enough anyway if initial impulse is of needed power)
