The reason I got so exited is that the similarities between this circuit and Tariel's are so similar
that I think this may be where Tariel got his concept from. 
In the Don Smith circuit he moves L1 inside of the L2 coil to get the proper resonance. 
We never did see what Tariel has inside of his main coil, only the wires coming out.
I think the big outer coil may also be used for tuning resonance like a large variable inductor. 

Don Smith states that he always leaves something out in all his diagrams for us to figure out. 
I see this circuit has 2 grounds in it, so maybe these grounds need to be separate like Tariel has put them.

Where did you see/read Tariel used 2 grounds and mentioned Don Smith?

In the video he connected one ground to an old car rad buried in the ground and another wire to the water line.

Check it out again.  At the beginning they bury the old rad then connect to it at 7:15 and at the 10:40 min. mark they connect it

Tariel never mentioned Don Smith, but he clearly stated that his system is designed around Tesla research. 
And Don Smith clearly states that all his systems are based on Tesla Research. 
I'm not saying that Tariel followed Don Smith,
I'm suggesting that both Tariel and Don Smith are looking at the same Tesla patent.
