Thankyou for you efforts.
Personally I am very excited about these experiments.

Why?
Well because I have been interested in Resonating Ferromagnetic Transformers for quite some time.

More specifically, I am interested in
1. Ferromagnetics and the way they amplify magnetic fields in a coil without using any extra current,
and
2. Resonance and the way Resonating Objects amplify wave energy.

This is from a previous post of mine that explains ... Why these phenomena are so DAMN INTERESTING.

2. Resonance.. the phenom that an object will store energy vibrationally and interact with the surrounding environment
                                     at an amplitude of vibration consistent with the energy the object is storing.     

                      ie.Two tuning forks ring louder and longer than one by means of feedback and the following. <---
                      The extra energy possibly comes from the Molecular Motion in the forks, that was random (before Resonance) which becomes ordered.


After contemplating these ideas, I purchased an electronics kit and experimented with resonating the audio transformer on it.
Long story short.. only when it's resonating... does the output of the transformer increase exponentially.
ie. 1.5 V battery lights up a 3 voltLED on the -->Step Down<-- side of the transformer only at 1 frequency.

Below is my FLY BACK experiment that seems quite relevant here after seeing the video Wesley just posted.
It shows the 'ring', and when you tune into the 'ring' ->(the resonance).. Bang Pow Bang.

Also posted is a diagram that shows how magnetic dipoles in Ferros amplify magnetic fields.

T-1000 will probably be able to shed light on the driver circuit.
I can only assume he inadvertently used 3 pnps and 1 npn, because
normally 2 pnps and 2 npns would be used in such a driver topology.
I attached a connectivity that would have a higher output swing than
the circuit that was posted.

2 pnp an and 2 npn transistors are used. Thanks for pointing out on wrongly placed arrow in schematics!
