this is what i have said also, it might, but might not, only way to see is to buy a alpha beta gamma ray counter ,  put a metal object near the device,  if it becomes radioactive, stop what you doing immidiately.,   health is far more expensive than operating such thing...   It is not only responsible for making metals radioactive,  but if you are close to such thing, your bones become affected.  we do not want that.

If Barium and Strontium, 2 toxins found in chemtrails, are also found in ferrite, would the destruction of these ferrite core's in the process not be detrimental to ones health ?

Don't worry about this.
First T-1000 is absolutely correct, the cores are made out of soft ferrite.
I just had these elements remembered, but they are used in hard ferrites
which are basically permanent magnets.
Soft ferrites are magnetizable and contain Manganese-zinc ferrite or Nickel-zinc ferrite.
So even if you break a barium-based magnet, the barium is not isolated but part of the compound.

Concerning the radiation issues.
Neutron radiation is hopefully unlikely, it could be beta radiation accompanying the massive liberation of electrons from the nuclei, but that could be measured and most of all shielded with aluminum and maybe acrylic outside.
Best bet is to put that thing in a shielded boy anyway especially if it operates above 100kHz.
