Here are some basic CDI circuits.  The updated ones are from a newer cdi used in water spark plug systems that also create plasma at the discharge site..

P.S.  This is an after thought I forgot to put down with these circuits.  The people doing the experiments with these circuits found that adding the SCR or diodes made the voltage increase way beyond what the math says it should be at.  This is explainable by the fact that the HV DC Discharge was Unidirectional and the diodes helped in that process.  When creating Real Reactive Radiant energy, when working with the Tesla TK setup, the tuning is the most important process of building a working device.  Remember that TK would take days sometimes in perfecting the tuning process.  Changing wire lengths, capacity, impulse speed, resistance and self induction.  Even if you have the disruptive discharge working in the right way, without the right resonance tuning.  Your output can be around the same as input, much lower or it can be 10's of times greater.  Finding the right capacitor and disruptor line resonance is the key to finding the right combination.  So don't give up if your not getting the high voltage output that you should.  Remember that its finding the right resonance of the current during the impulse generation that you are searching for.  It took me weeks to find the right combination and I would still have problems creating a new device.   I weighed my primary with the lines to the capacitor, spark gap and the supply lines to source input all together as one circuit and made the secondary the same weight.  I also over cut the secondary and snipped little pieces off till I got the high output.

Good Note CaptainKeith,  thats the very same cause of the TK device noise and the welder short noise is basically the same thing...  But TK's is caused by an off resonance getting back into resonance.  Just my opinion.

Or possibly out of phase AC supplies coming into phase??

How to power a load through the stout wire with almost no voltage? More experiments are needed.
