I also found the same phenomenon as regards the current dropping as a load was placed !! However I think that dear Magluvin gave a reasonably clear reason for this occurrence, something to do with impedance ??

With regards to your earlier video posts is that device based upon the Chibinidze schematic. It rather resembles it to me !!
