and what type is the ATX (what was connected after battery), and one another (maybe stupid) question, you mentined ferrite ring, its possible use instead old TV yoke ferrite core? its conical type, I still not saw how its look but I have at home 3 old CRT TV (2 is possible B/W), I havent time disassembly it

[size=78%]Shore, why not? Basicly you can use any ferite core E core or U core, any. Beause I am shore, that this part not giving overunity, it only needed for standar transformation. [/size]
But if you speak about ferite ring for nanosecond pulses generator, then yoke is not good, it too big, in that case ferite ring must be wery small, about 1 cm diameter, permability it must be 1000, 2000 or 3000u, 3000 is best.

Question to anyone who knows. I was having trouble finding the specs. on the K ? 203 Shockley Diodes used in  the pules generator circuit for the RG58 coil, and was wondering if someone would be so kind as to enlighten me as to what the Diode voltage and current were.
