I hadn't found any like that yet.  I was only looking for wire antennae for this particular forum.

I did find several that used radiation to generated electricity, though.  (Patent #4,835,433 is one example; there are others).  I might start a thread in the Half Baked Ideas Forum  concerning this.

But, if I do find one, I'll reply to your specific post with a quote, the number, and the GOOGLE patent address.

Please keep in mind:
Many of these patents are designed to generate plasma, not extract electrons from it.  High density plasma can melt the coils in a hurry.

Furthermore,
MHD and MPD systems are often designed to generate electric power from plasma mixtures that are confined by magnet/electromagnetic fields.  There are more than enough patents to this effect to be search for.
