Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

Do you think the American economy will ever improve?

Yes, definitely
Possibly, in the long run
No, it will worsen
Undecided

Why can't we base our currency on copper or oil?
Politics.  Politicians are what they are.  Just because you or I have a good idea doesn't necessarily mean they'll take notice.

Not gold or silver.Copper seems to be the new gold here in st.Louis.People are willing to break into houses to get it.The governmebt has not really cracked down on copper thieves and the companies that buy it no questions asked.
Crazy.  AZ and CA are hot on copper ripoffs.  They like to throw the perps in jail.  In CA they take your picture every time for copper recycling sales.

I think I just came up with a new spelling for our indebted government.I give you governmebt instead.triffid
Not bad.
Things aren't getting any more intelligent in Congress:
If they cut spending, people begin starving en masse.
If they raise taxes, people lose jobs and then begin starving en masse.
If they raise the debt ceiling, eventually no one will have confidence in the American economy---and there'll be a depression that'll collapse the economy eventually.  People will also starve en masse.
If they don't raise it, Moody's and S&P will lower the America debt rating and jobs will eventually be lost.  People will also, again starve en masse.

About nothing they do gives a good outcome.  The few who have the ability to change things for the good in the past have waited too long to make any difference now.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

I may be out of bounds here but I found this video clip which makes me think of the mess we are in.It supposed to be funny but it mirrors the mess we are in in its own way.   http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/4ccd0abe51/not-another-saw-movie   triffid

This relates to something I posted a long time agoWhen i posted a link to squatters rights state by state. A tip of the hat to our pals at Curbed for tipping us off to this one. Thanks to a little-known provision in state law, enterprising Texan Kenneth Robinson -- either a hero or a squatter, depending on your point of view -- has taken possession of a foreclosed $300,000 house for a mere $16. That's the amount he forked over to file a claim of "adverse possession" of the property with the Denton County courthouse.
Robinson contends that the abandoned house is his for the taking, since neither the original owner nor the bank is likely to go to the trouble or expense of kicking him out. If he can manage to stay in the property for three years, he says, the law grants him the right to petition the court for title to the house.
Crafty though Robinson may be, not all of his new neighbors are happy to see him in their midst. Watch the video to see how the controversy unfolds.Keep in mind adverse possession will make someone mad.It reminds me sort of someone going to jail for years to keep the money they stole.triffid

People who make a name for themselves can sometimes become a target.  I've seen it happen before.

From my point of view he is a target.I dont know how he knows the bank will not kick him out.The owner may have died or is besought with so many legal problems he does not have time to care.I did read before of a homeless man who became the lawful owner of a piece of land worth over a million pounds in england by living on it in full view of the public. He lived by begging and doing odd jobs for ten years in a public park.He had built himself a shack to live in the back of it somewhere. It was a rough life but he became a lawful land owner at public exspense.triffid
