Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

I guess it all helps?
Atmospheric electricity is like a massive photographic flash. An electrical charge is built up, a switch is closed, and electrons barge across a gas, ionizing it and producing light. But a flash is a complete circuit. In the case of the Earth, Ruhnke explained, the atmosphere completes the circuit.

Thunderstorm charge generation happens inside clouds. Current flows out of the tops of clouds - blue jets and red sprites may play a role - and connects with the upper atmosphere and the ionosphere. Ultimately, the current returns to Earth through the clear atmosphere. Because it's diffused over most of the globe, it's also quite weak at any given point.
"All three values are very difficult to measure," Ruhnke said. The current is 10-12amps per square meter - "almost nothing." The field is about 100 volts per meter, meaning that the electric potential increases by about 200 volts from the ground to the top of Michael Jordan's head when he's standing still. Finally, air is an excellent insulator, so its conductivity is close to zero.

Okay, triffid:
I looked at the link above you provided and it did load and run like it's supposed to.   I agree with the basic premise of the circuit.   The apparently Castilian dialect Spanish is simple enough for me to comprehend---which is why I understand the circuit.   All Spanish dialects could be like that; understandable to someone who speaks the language.
    As for my precise opinion of the circuit, it's unnecessarily complicated to me.   I didn't get into the article enough to figure out if all those extra components raised the efficiency level of the circuit, as compared to just an insulated wire with a diode to a battery.

That about all I can do now without looking at more pages of the article.

@microcontroller
I know what our Member colleague, triffid, is doing.   He researches information a lot---I do, too---and then posts what he finds.   He and I have been doing that for quite a while on the thread "I see a disaster coming" in the News Forum.   He does this all the time.   Not everyone, including myself, thinks it's bad.   It's a lot of information he relates, but electronic research is the name of the game at OU.com.   He just does it his way.   I'm being honest in my opinion, here.

I'm merely a theoretical electronics engineer/technician for now, since I have no extra money for experimentation, but I was a professional electronics/computer technician in the past.
As a result, I have a lot of ideas, but no hard test results to back them up---for now.  That could change if I get a job locally in the Bay Area of California.

MC, I have the time(Im retired).And some electronic background.You have taught me some things yourself.I do stumble around some never knowing where the next breakthrough is coming from.If You have better ideas post them.If I had been able to translate the rest of the spanish articles I would have posted them.We're all in this together.triffid
