Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

there are much larger forces at work than drilling for oil... it's called plate tectonics. see that plate in the middle of the picture below? the one labeled caribbean plate? it collides with the north american plate and causes earthquakes among its many effects, one of the other effects happens to be the islands themselves...

It is not the drilling force that causes problems. Its the hollow space underneath our feet that troubles us. When the hollow space becomes too big, the mass distribution in some parts of the earth becomes uneven.  Because of this problem, some parts of the earth lose their balance and become piezoelectrically unstable.

Like what Sai Baba said:

Today, man has limitless desires. He has become very greedy and he is exploiting Nature. He keeps extracting metals from the fathomless depths of the earth. He digs deeper and deeper, thousands and thousands of feet, to extract ores and metals out of Mother Earth. Then, he also goes deep into the ocean to extract kerosene and petrol. As a result, the balance of earth is gone. When earth’s balance is gone, then there are floods. When there is shallowness and hollowness in different parts of earth, it leads to earthquakes. So, the earthquakes and floods are of man’s making. God has not done anything. All of these things are a sort of reaction to man’s atrocities -- his exploitation of Nature, his greediness and miserliness, which are due to limitless desires.

Surely you jest. The deepest drilling ever done by mankind is the drilling that has taken place on the Kola Peninsula in Russia. This drilling started in 1970 and had reached a depth of 12,262 meters, in 1994. The drilling itself was done differently in the Kola Peninsula. The entire drill itself was not rotated; only the drill bit was turned by the flow of drilling mud.
Earth crust averages 43452 meters thick.

We all have the choice to waste ourselves in rebellion or to gain wisdom.  Therefore, gain wisdom:

"A grim report prepared by the Russian Northern Fleet for Prime Minister Putin is stating today..."
Really? Hard to find any source to echo that.
