Hasn't Anybody Done the Aspden Experiment Yet?

I have searched this and other sites to find out if anyone on this planet has ever done Aspden's capacitor experiment.  I am unable to find anyone who ever has.
His description MUST include concentric capacitors and MUST be powered by a high voltage, not regular caps and not usual voltages.

He seemed to find it incredible that he could find no record of such a test of his capacitor/aether idea. It would be even more incredible to think that No One has ever tried to test his idea CORRECTLY in the years since he suggested it !!!

I remember the Davidson device.  Was there any further info on this?  I simply thought, 'if that was real, he would be screaming about it on every free energy website'.  Did anyone replicate it?

I haven't done exactly Aspden's setup but I almost exclusively put HV across concentric cylinder capacitors along with some additional pulsing. The difference is that my output comes from more cylinders that are placed concentrically within the capacitors. So I try to take energy from the capacitors using intermediate plates within them and not from the charged plates themselves.

I've been aware of Aspden's proposal for a long time though; just haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Hi Eightman,
years ago I found a paper written by Aspden himself. In this paper he reported about tests being made with this device. The results were negative. I tried to find this paper again after reading your post, but had no succes.
