Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

You have to remember that the smaller they are, the more powerful they are.
There is still much testing needed to be done but atleast we are on the right path now.

The JH video can actually show how much silver and galena to add by using a nail file and steady pressure
has anyone confirmed that smaller is more powerful?
Could it be that as the size increases beyond a point there are diminishing returns.

I cannot help but think the two surface areas or electrodes don't need to be cylinders.
It might be easier to use small rectangular foils sandwiched in layers ?

While the mixture is cooling the voltage is applied followed by another layer and so on
finally wrapping in tape.

Hi all I haven't managed to get all the ingredients for the power cell yet but still trying, when i do get it all ready i have been thinking of adding germanium

G'day all, back again.
Well am I hoping my stints in hospital are now over, May was a writeoff with 9 days straight on a drip. Anyway for the forseeable future I'm back in production.
I managed to get myself a stone tumbler which I've turned into a Ball mill. Best thing ever.
Just load up your ingredients and let it go for an hour and you are left with completely mixed micron sized powder. And yes it makes better cells.

You will see from the photos that I have made what I call a Test strip.  It's just 2 electrodes side by side and about 2mm apart. The later strips were glue gunned instead of using tape. The good thing about these are you only have to melt a small amout of your mix, saves resources. And now my mixes are a fine even powder this is easy to do.

Now bearing in mind these are only testers and will not produce the same power as a full blown battery but will give you an instant idea of how well your mix will work. The strip in the photo gave 0.938V and happily chugged along at 120uA.

It's interesting to note that JH uses a 2 to 1 ratio of  epsom salts to rochelle salts. I have used for a long time a ratio of 1.74 to 1. JH reads this forum so lets see if he can work out why. Anyway thanks once again John for going "open source", feel free to drop in and talk to us sometime, you would be more than welcome.

Back to biz. I have always been a fan of Marcus Reids cells. He predominately concentrated on a base matrix of sodium silicate. The silicate was doped with some semiconductor material, there are lots to choose from. Now that I have obtained some germanium I intend to use some of that.

The cell I did make however contained all the usual stuff. RS, EP, silicate, pyrites ect.
In addition I added 25% by weight Calcite. Calcite is nothing more than another form of Calcium carbonate. On top of all that I threw in 5% by weight Bismuth.
This cell performed extremely well. 0.93V and put out 1mA for 24hrs. Now it powering the watch. Note however that the voltage drops to 0.25V with a 1Kohm load. It stays at that point indefinately. 0.25/1000 = 250uA.

Now thanks to my automatic grinding system this has allowed me to make many more cells with different mixes. Most of us here already have basic crystal batteries. Some , like mind are over 7 years old and still showing signs of life. My original Pyrite cell will just not die. So I went back over my old notes to see if there were any mixes that I could now "fine tune".

I'm in the process of doing that now and as we speak I've made up 7 test strips of various mixes and currently testing. Things are looking good.
I'll be back with the results shortly.

Cya later
Regards  Ian
