There are over 100 PICTURED installed devices WORKING shown on their website and many others MIT have and are still using.   It must get cold under that bridge?  Anyone serious about seeking answers will find at least READING the material helps.

If you're talking about the Plasmatron at MIT, it's not a GEET. Geet kits are available, as are plans. Pictures on their site don't add up to much of anything. Tommey Reed did a challenge on youtube, claimed it's just a vapor carb. No takers, but a lot of complainers.

This might be way off base, I'm new to high voltages, etc.  However I recently finished building my first tesla coil, and it's a monster.  :)  Arent the massive purple discharges from the coil @500kV+ plasma discharges?

Being a good male, the first thing I did once I finally had her operational, was put a grapefruit on the top load.  It didn't even get slightly warm - disappointing (skin effect?), given it was 1kW of power.  Next I put a cold unopened bottle of beer on the top load.  Not even a fizzy froth when I opened it afterward and drank it.  But it was fun watching the arcing inside of the bottle before discharging upwards from the bottle cap :)

Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there, I had the impression that tesla coil discharges were plasma discharges, but they produce no apparent heat in any medium they are traversing.
